Hello, Goodbye is a poetic observational film, a meditation on the emotional and sensory connections between people and place through the story of a school on the edge of transformation. As a new school rises and the old building is laid to rest, the film weaves together voices past and present uncovering fragments of memory, sensation, and belonging. The corridors and classrooms become vessels of identity and meaning. Through a phenomenological perspective, Hello, Goodbye meditates on how spaces shape — and are shaped by — the people who inhabit them, offering a quiet elegy: a reflection on change, continuity, and the imprint of built environments on our lives... how would you say hello, goodbye?
